Haws 0 v 1 Forfar West End
/Saturday saw Forfar West End visit Kiers Park for our third league game of the season. Unfortunately the Haws found themselves a goal down after only five minutes as Forfar started the game with more pace and composure. Forfar maintained control of the game until half time and should have increased their lead at least twice but for poor finishing and the quick reaction of keeper Stuart Hall.
As the second half began the Haws started to come in to the game more. 20 minutes in the introduction of Aaron Hay, assistant manager Darrin Wright and 15 year old Luke Smith saw the Haws have more possession of the ball. However with 2 yellow cards in quick succession for Wright, Forfar kept the Haws frustrated in front of goal to take the 3 points.
The Haws will need to turn in a better performance in their next game on Wednesday night away to Dundonald Blubell if they hope to come away with a positive result. Cmon the Haws!
